The Minsterley Flood Action Group meets regularly to discuss flooding and river issues in the Parish.
The Public are welcome to attend and participate at Public Open Meetings but are unable to participate in Multi Agency Meetings.
If you or a neighbour is in need of urgent flooding support:
- If life is in danger – call 999
- For anything else flooding related (e.g. next steps for recovery, insurance) – please call the National Flood Forum helpline 01299 403055 for assistance and advise.
As a reminder if you or a neighbour has been flooded, please ensure this is reported through the correct channels to Shropshire Council and Environment Agency:

- Environment Agency: 0800 80 70 60
Shropshire Council is the responsible risk management authority for flooding from Ordinary Watercourses. Environment Agency is the responsible risk management authority for Main Rivers. If you are unsure of who to report to, report to both.
