1/ Open Forum
PC Somerfield was present with PCSO and went over activities, still a low crime area, 2 thefts, 1 burglasry, 1 drugs offence. 10 ASB looks a lot but most relate to 1 person and a number of incidents, this has been d/w in conjunction with Sevenside and Jon praised his partnerships efforts. Any youthy ASB centred around car misuse and he is monitoring this.
He is hopeful that staffing will remain same at present.

5/ Parish Property

a) Square
Clerk still not had confirmation from Muller that they are able to contribute to the purchase of a new notice board. Clerk to get an answer yes or no. (Act Clerk)
BB said some household rubbish had been dumped in litter bins at the square. GR said Derek Furlong at SC can take this up, Clerk to inform Police who did have a camera in vicinity(Act Clerk)

b) Playing field
c) Street lights

2 lights had been reported last week, further required :-
No 54 1st in Horsebridge on pole ingrounds of care home
No 14 Pine Cres Outside No 12 had been repaired but only lasted 24 hrs
Get price for new cover to replace lost one

d) Footpaths
Fallen tree across Grove path had been reported to rights of way

e) Play areas

Clerk had applied for Sec 106 monies due and they had been received from SC. PT had reviewed quotes and proposed some amendment. These were agreed if they were within cost range and included installation and spoil removal. Clerk was authorised to pursue and if all requirements met to order equipment from Wicksteed
Inspection is to be done 21st Jan
Quotes for fencing at Callow Lanne have not been received.

6/ Shropshire Council

a) Highways

Standing water had been an issue after recent heavy rainfall as the drains between gullies are blocked at 1/ Plox Green 2/ from BT up Poulton bank on a488

b) Footpaths
Minsterley to Pontesbury footpath appears to be in progress.
There is vegetation growing into the carriageway on Horsebridge Rd from the Toll House and Belmont.

c) Flooding

No actions taken as yet, a major concern, recent haeavy rains had again seen some flooding though the Grove area was not affected more by luck than judgement. TB to be asked to raise at cabinet.
In the recent haeavy rains the culvert at Little Minsterley had blocked. GR was able through his contact with D L Edwards to have it rectified. The cause was the brook that is full of debris that belongs to fire service.Clerk to ask for maintenance of same(Act Clerk)

7/ Planning
Hot food takeaway was still in appeal according to SC website.

There was another general discussion of planning policy SAMDEV and the NPPF

8/Payments to be made

i/ Wicsteed playground inspection 144 cheque no 580

Balance at bank noted, 23,353.47. On course for projected EOY of 20,000
Balance may be skewed due to Sec 106 money for playground.
Precept for 2014-15 had been applied for 16,000 as requested
Agreed payment Pro GR all agreed

BT phone box consult to be shown on website, and also conservation walks with Shropshire council


GB informed about the possible close of Pontesbury PO, BB had no news.
