D Leeson (clerk) & 6 members of public + Cllr P Nutting Leader Shrops Council.

1/ Open Forum
Mr D Parker of Pine Cres said he wished to object to the development at Gylands, Little Minsterley and asked for councils support.
Mr M Davies came to support his application 17/02803/FUL dwelling for his daughter.
Mr D Jones gave some evidence re flood issues. He asked that we report Ragwort to planning.
Points raised about development in Horsebridge rd that had been passed by planning at SC
Councillor P Nutting gave a presentation of the current state of play at Shropshire Council. His hope/plans for the future. Need to attract business rates. Special attention to market towns. Deficits are on the increase there is a need to get more income. He then took questions.

5/ Parish Property
a) Square
There are some wooden railings missing on the fence between Barytes cottage and the bridge to Hall Cottage. Highways informed to be watched for solution.
There is land at Orchid meadow that has not been cut. Can Sevenside confirm ownership?

b) Playing field
Mini motorbikes using the field Police to look into
The fence at the orchid meadow end has been cut. A Yapp has been asked to put railings up after new contact details received

c) Street lights
No 67 light just after Brookside going out of village near 30 mph is covered in ivy and has no power WPD inf liaise with contractor. Also ask contractor for price for last 6 lights going out of village to be LED(via CIL) (Act Clerk)

d) Footpaths
Wagbeach sign obscured by vegetation Tony Bishton did some work but missed this. Pontesbury are happy to share cost of bench on path between villages. Issue with location. Highways to be asked to maintain better.

e) Play areas
Price awaited for new signage. The grass was long. BMX track needs cutting (Act Clerk)

f) De Fib
It had been hoped to include in Asterley training but did nor work out. Clerk to arrange training

Complaint form Hawthorne rd residents about fork lift bleepers 3 &4 o’clock in morning, Clerk to approach creamery

6/ Shropshire Council

a) Highways
There is a Tarmac scam going on locally, clerk to warn via website
Safer road partnership are to have a meeting and advise re speeding.
There are people in the wood belonging to M Davies again.

b) Footpaths
Path 49 stile has missing rung near the bridge across river.

c) other SC items
GR had attended town & Parish meeting. Cllr Nuting had gone over most points but GR pointed out Youth service looks to be waning, Local plan to be consulted on (til 2036)
Officers are to get in touch about ownership of public land.
NH gave a quick chat about Pontesbury concerns.
Also poss liaison group for library. SL volunteered and was thanked.

7/ Planning
17/02803/FUL – Dwelling and garage east of Poplars – approved
Redevelopment at Gylands, Council concerned about points raised nad will object and ask for representation at planning meeting.
15 houses at Horsbridge rd passed at planning

8/Payments to be made

i/ T Bishton for works at play field etc £85 chq no 757

Bank statement £ 45440.03 noted by chair
£30 rent from rounders team. Not on statement. Env grant not receieved yet

Poles Coppice

GB asked for agenda item Aug for Lib steering group
SL asked that we write to object to merger of fire and Police as suggested by PCC
