1/ Apologies T Bebb ill, R Jackson holiday

2/ Comments from Chair

Councillor Rogers read a report going over the year and in particular :- Planning, he hoped that the adoption of SAMDEV would help, the reduction in precept per household despite pressures from Shropshire Council.
He thanked R Edwards and Clerk for their work and thanked the councillors for their work and support.

3/ Clerk Report

The Clerk gave an outline of the financial position of the council.

4/ Shropshire Councillor Report

Tudor Bebb was absent due to illness

5/ Police Report

PCSO A Roberts gave a brief overview of the March issues and answered questions, she is moving to a town beat but will be replaced.

6/ School

142 pupils over 6 classes to deal with any increase in pupil numbers.
OFSTED inspection is expected shortly.
Mr Davies retired at Xmas after 25 years at the school. Replaced by Miss Holloway.
7/ Parish Hall

GB stated the accounts have been calculated but not yet presented show a small deficit due to refurbishment, surestart will end soon and will put pressure on income.

8/ Representation from Parishoners

Shropshire Hills & Corndon partnership have some grants available to try and preserve natural environment. There is a 4th meeting in May.
Residents raised an issue about speeding in Little Minsterley, concerns raised with new development in that area.

9/ United Charities

GR reminded those present of this local charity.
