1/ Open Forum
S Lockwood had taken up issue with Edgebold roundabout with MP, and gave in his response.
D Fairclough gave a quick appraisal of the financial issues with SC. 77m savings to be made. Services to be funded differently or to go. i.e. Pontesbury Lib 3years deal with Pontesbury P.C. Youth Club with SYA. Poles Coppice.
In the longer term the Env grant would go and open countryside management.
He said support would cost a band d property 4p per week for Lib and 10p pw for Youth Club.
There was a discussion around the issues and taxation and precepts. The clerk was tasked with trying to correlate some figures for the council to put to residents.
Police report 2 Harrasment, 1 Fraud,1 Assault, 1 Crim damage.
SMY were working on drug issues at the Parish Hall.
A brief overview of meeting with Tarmac was given by Chair.

Roundabout planting done and sponsors signs are up.
Noticeboards display ongoing, 1 at P.O. 1 at village hall.

Report of issue with light 32 Callow Cres passed to contractor
Light 65 on during day outside 27 Willow park
Highway light next to milk churns in little minsterley on in day

d) Footpaths
There is also an ongoing issue being pursued by clerk of disruption of planting by BT work at Linden fields.

e) Play areas
BB hoop received by N Allen. New signs put in place by N Allen. He had also checked swings and re attached footplate to walker.
The Chair gave the councils thanks to Councillor Allen for the work he has carried out which is a great help.
Tony Bishton to be appraised of Safety report to refresh the MUGA.

R Edwards has stated that he would like to terminate the contracted works he does for the council. Clerk to advertise for tender for a 12 month contract in the first instance (Act Clerk)

6/ Shropshire Council

a) Highways
Hedge at Belmont, Horsebridge rd interfering with rd users. Could Highways give their advice on the trees (bird mess) issue outside the churchyard.

b) Footpaths
M Davies will look at plans to ascertain if any Parish property around Barytes Cottage

c) De - Fib
Cabinet installed but wrong size, to be replace clerk to monitor (Act Clerk)
