1/ Open Forum
Residents gave an update on the ongoing issues with the road closure at horsebridge to facilitate roofworks at an adjacent property. They had written to complaints at Shrops Council and also reported to the Police which had resulted in an appeal on the radio.
The issue is ongoing.
They also reported on the possibility of a grant for conservation and churchyard tidying at the church.
A SORN off road car seen being driven had been reported.
Police report 3 ASB, 1 Fraud,1 Assault, 1 Theft.
Clerk had emailed P.C. about reports of drug issues at the Parish Hall. He was out of office til 16th. Clerk to pursue.

2/ Appointment of New Council
Clerk took control of meeting which voted to retain the current Chair, Nom NA Sec BB.
Councillor Rogers then retook the meeting.
Mr B Bill was nominated by the Chair as Vice Chair and seconded by RJ and voted in.

a) Square
Noticeboards supplied by Shrops Council (MTI), BB to pursue works required

b) Playing field
Rounder’s team donation received

c) Street lights
Repairs done, but not invoiced as yet, there still seems to be an issue at 1 Briar close, engineer attended 10th May, LED lighting is being investigated.

d) Footpaths
NA said that the spraying was again over zealous and was encroaching on planting could we liaise with S Council.
There is also an ongoing issue being pursued by clerk of disruption of planting by BT work at Linden fields.

e) Play areas
STC unable to refresh the MUGA. Tony Bishton to be asked and a new BB hoop ordered. (Act Clerk)
Courses for those who looked after play areas are available 15th Sept Clerk to organise.

6/ Shropshire Council

a) Highways
Could speed signs be installed either end of the village? S Council to be asked and clerk to investigate cost of purchase.
The Leigh rd leading to reabrook has poor visibility due to overgrown hedges at Middle farm and the Hame
(Act Clerk)

b) Footpaths
A gap has appeared in fence alongside a488 near barytes cottage. Clerk to approach S Council

c) De - Fib
Cabinet installed but wrong size, to be replace clerk to monitor (Act Clerk)
