5/ Parish Property

a) Square
Clerk still not had confirmation from Muller that they are able to contribute to the purchase of a new notice board. It was suggested to advertise for sponsorship. MD said he may be able to offer some assistance.
GB said the MTRP required a site for a walkers/cyclists map and water fountain. GB was to establish size of installation. (Act GB)

b) Playing field

c) Street lights
One light had been reported as on all day to maintenance. Clerk had passed concerns as to cost to Potters Electrical.

d) Footpaths
Further fallen tree across Grove path and also behind surgery by The Mount

e) Play areas

R Parry had given cost for repairs but seemed excessive and more than Wicksteed quote
GR said we should approach Shrewsbury Town Council to see if they will do work (Act Clerk)
NA said the plants for the Callow lane play area will not last til proposed day of work in May 2nd GB will inform MCAP. R Edwards has carried out tidy required by safety report. Quote for fencing was excessive over 1k. Wait to see how MCAP work progresses. Sevenside have said they will lock gate on other side of brook.

6/ Shropshire Council

a) Highways
Some patching had been done and identified by contractors
Muller had trimmed trees on site but just brushed trimmings into road possibly causing obstruction in drains, Clerk to write to Mullers. (Act Clerk)
No further issues identified with lorries exiting New Farm having problems with cars parked on a488 at end of school. Excellent new lights on Pelican crossing.
No response to letter re new layout of the a448/a5 roundabout was causing congestion from highways agency. Clerk to liaise with other affected Councils (Act Clerk)

b) Footpaths
Minsterley Pontesbury path progressing

c) Flooding
Discussed in AGM still no activity. Letter to MP from Env agency had contested items.
Letter to be sent to all agencies asking why nothing has been done and copies to MP. (Act Clerk)

7/ Planning
Extension to rear 8 Willow Pk no objection

ii/ Minsterley Parish Hall annual hire 130.00 chq No 860
iii/ Clerks re-imburse for caretaker consumables 21.87 chq No 861
iiiii/ Parish Hall grant for fire alarm upgrade 1000.00 chq no 862
v/ Wicksteed play equipment purchase and install 11,994.36.55 chq no 863
